untitled document almost parker blue diamond vacumatic fountain pen this is the best example of a vintage vacumatic i can find. from my personal collection. f m 14kt dual-tone nib with nice flex vacumatic filling system 5 116quot capped – made in us – 3rd quarter 1945 fully restored – 12 months warranty this pen is exceptional and it is in almost mint condition. the pen dates to the 3rd quarter 1945 and it is very close to its original condition. it is free from any noticeable nicks, cracks, deep scratches or monograms and has only minor signs of surface stress due to age which can only be seen through a loupe. the dual-tone nib is superb and writes smoothly with an fm monoline and nice flex to give beautiful line variation and makes it an extremely comfortable writer. the emerald pearl color is bright with no loss of pearlescent, the transparency is brilliant and the manufacturers imprint is clear but marginally faded. there is no noticeable brassing to the hardware and the chevron cap clip design is obvious and distinct. the filling system is working as it should and the ink flow is perfect. i cannot fault this pen. please note these pictures are highly magnified. i have completely disassembled the pen and ultrasonically cleaned all the parts, a new diaphragm has been fitted and i reset the nib and feed, and adjusted the nib for smooth writing. when i re-assemble i silicone grease all the threads and hand polish the pen and gold hardware. the gold is waxed with high quality micro-crystalline wax to prevent future brassing, this treatment will last for the lifetime of the pen. i write test every pen before it is offered for sale, there may be traces of ink. for collectors, the original box and instructions is included. all my restored pens have 12 months warranty for defects from normal use. refunds amp returns i guarantee the pen to be as pictured and as described. i accept returns if it is unused and in its original packaging and a refund will be gladly given upcollecting cheap sale
