i have too many items in my collection, so this amazing wakizashi must be sold. unfortunately i have lost the information on this item but from the patina of the tang and signature i would estimate it is shinto period at the very least, probably older.blade is in good older polish.overall length in shirasaya is 28.25 inchesoverall length of blade 24.5 inches 63 cmlength of mune 19.9 inches 50.05 cmthickest part of mune 0.025 inches 4mmhamon is good and discernible and turns back at the boshi. there doesnt seem to be any fatal flaws. there looks to be some minor grain opennings and battle marks which never polished out. in all, an excellent study piece and a beautiful blade.please ask all questions before bidding.discount australia value
