you are looking at something very unique… this is the gecko it is a purpose built off road vehicle that i used to compete in off road events in the uk. it is based on to range rover front half chassis welded back to back. ive used two range rover axles. the rear axle has a detroit auto locking differential and hardened axle shafts. the front axle has a trutrac torque biasing diff like a limi slip diff but without the wearing bits. it also has hardened shafts. the gearbox is is an american auto box.. bullet proof coupled to the land rover lt230 transfer box. the engine is a rover 3.5 carby v8 lump. this is easy to maintain, with plenty of go without having so much that you always break shafts. the steering comprises of 2 power steering pumps on the engine, two steering boxes on the chassis one at the rear and one at the front, both connected by chain and shaft. this gives full time four wheel steer… great for tight spaces and doughnuts the space frame is made of 3.5 mm steam tube a requirement for uk competition and the pannels are 2mm aluminium on the body and 3mm aluminium on the wings. solid and resilient to trees each wheel is independantly braked front axle via split pedals.. tractor style, and rears via a pushpull lever located to the left of the drivers seat. sounds complicated but several mates mastered it within minutes last weekend. one chick put us all to shame the vehicle is located in the barossa valley near adelaide, and viewing is welcome, and recomended if you are serious about owning something trully unique im selling it because having bought property, it seems that there is now always something that needs doing so the vehicle sits. this vehicle would be well suited to a large property with plenty of remote in accessable terain. literally, it goes where you cant walk, yet will still do well over 120kph in a straight line it would also be well suited to boat launching this vehicle is now advertised elsewhere, so i can and will withdraw it if it senew sale

this is regretful sale due to uncontrollable circumstances, this truck is my pride and joy. i have receipts from 1912010 for 7000.00 + it is 1995 dual cab 4wd hilux, the orginal 2.8ld motor has been removed. and a brand new buick commodore v6 crate motor and cooling system installed less than 1500kms ago. a custom built gear box was installed on the 2322010 a new rear diff and centre installed 622010. and all front seals replaced. the brakes, rotors, and axle locks have less than 5000.00kms on them. it has koni adjustable shocks and 2 lift kings springs. the truck also comes with a set of 80mm body blocksnot yet installed the tray is a custom built step entry tray. perfect to get you in and out of those tight spots off road. it has a sunken tool box for plenty of storage. the truck does come with alloy roll bar that goes to the rear of the tray. but didnt have eno15×10, 2 new 3, 65. the panel work and paint is in good condition with a few marks amp scratches here and there. and the interior is also in good condition. it is the grey and black colour scheme. the vehicle is registered to the 6th month, and a saftey certificate will be supplied unless other method is agreed upon. i do reserve the right to cancel this action or transaction at any time. vehicle will be pick up only, cash on delivery. upon sale apon sale a deposit will be transferred to my amount, then rest of cash on pick up. feel free to contact me to get my contact details, to ask any questions. this is one unreal tuff truck and is a joy to drive, with endless power, i am sure it will bring the next owner as much fun as it has myself. this truck is 90 brand new how can you go wrong. it has a new life time in front of it.price price parts
